Secondary School Talk 2023

The Faculty of Science of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) has been devising a series of interesting science talks for secondary school students every year to discover the wonders of science and technology. We offer topics on a wide range of scientific subjects from biology, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, to physics with an aim to stimulate our society’s future scientists and innovators to solve real world problems with scientific methods.

 

All science talks are delivered by the University professors and lecturers from five departments in the Faculty of Science. The talks are specifically designed for students in the senior years and can be conducted online or at the local secondary schools.

 

Coupled with science talk, the admission talk will cover our two Science programmes, JS2510 Bachelor of Science and JS2910 Bachelor of Science in Business Computing and Data Analytics for participants to understand our programme features and various learning opportunities at HKBU.

2. Select your preferred topics and dates in order of priority. You will receive an email notification after completing the registration.

3. We will contact you shortly upon receiving your submission.

 

Notes

1. The talks usually will be arranged according to the preferences of schools, while it is subject to availability of the speakers.

2. Please submit the application at least 1 month in advance.
