To celebrate the Golden Jubilee, the Faculty of Science of Hong Kong Baptist University has published a pioneering 50th Anniversary Commemorative Volume as part of its celebratory events to honour its half century of dynamic development in year 2011.
The Volume covers the history, development and achievements of the Faculty since 1961, together with the sharing from staff, alumni and students, and a recap of a year-long anniversary celebration. With the numerous precious historical photos and profound messages / sharing given by over 50 contributors who have been maintaining close relationships with the Faculty, the Volume offers a panoramic view of the development of the Faculty over the years. The vivid and detailed account tells not only the vibrancy of the Faculty, but also the core values and strengths we inherit from the past generations.
The 140 – page full color book is priced at HK$150. Interested parties can order the Volume from the Faculty direct. All proceeds from the Volume will go to the 50th Anniversary Education Fund of the Faculty in supporting students’ scholarships and enrichment programmes.
